Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hostel. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from everything, and the staff was mostly friendly, except for one particularly rude individual. However, my sleep was disturbed by loud noises in the night, and cleanliness was lacking in the bathrooms. Overall, it offered a decent price for a simple stay, but there were definitely some downsides.
My stay was quite unsettling, as the hostel was in dire need of maintenance. The rooms were cramped and chilly, while the shared bathrooms left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. On the brighter side, the location was excellent for accessing public transport, and the beds, despite being overcrowded, were somewhat comfortable. However, the overall experience was definitely below par, and I wouldn't recommend it unless substantial improvements are made.
My stay at this hostel was far from pleasant. While it’s conveniently located near public transport, the overall experience was marred by unclean conditions and poor service. The rooms had some redeeming qualities, but hygiene and comfort were seriously lacking. I would advise anyone to reconsider before booking here.
My stay at this hostel was nothing close to pleasant. While it was conveniently located near the train and bus station, the overall cleanliness and hospitality left much to be desired. The rooms were cramped and cold, and the service was lacking. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
Staying at this hostel was a deeply unsettling experience. The check-in was awkward, and the owner was confrontational for no real reason, which set a strange tone for the stay. While there were some interesting characters around, the overall cleanliness was shocking, especially with a persistent leak creating a foul situation. I can't recommend this place - it feels less like a hostel and more like a bizarre, creepy hideout.
Staying at this hostel was quite an experience. While the location is undeniably convenient, being close to the train station and all the major attractions, the overall quality of the accommodation left a lot to be desired. The staff varied in their friendliness, and the common areas were not the coziest. Unfortunately, the noise from other guests disrupted my sleep, which is a significant downside.
My stay was quite a nightmare, as the place was filthy and poorly maintained, with leaking ceilings and broken toilets. The odd atmosphere was overshadowed by the high price of £17 a bed, which feels extortionate given the condition of the hostel. However, the location was decent, conveniently located near various attractions.
My stay was quite the mixed bag. The check-in process went smoothly, and I appreciated having no bed bugs. The kitchen appeared to be a good space, but the room conditions left a lot to be desired, especially with cleanliness and lack of basic amenities. Overall, I think the place needs significant improvements to match the beautiful city of Bath.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Bath, making it easy to explore the city. However, the service left much to be desired, with unhelpful staff and cleanliness issues in common areas. While the beds themselves are decent, the overall experience was marred by the lack of basic facilities like powerpoints in rooms and a clean bathroom. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again based on my experience.
